LILLIAN SHIPLEY Obituary
Shipley, Lillian Ann, 81, of Springfield passed away December 6, 2020, in her residence. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 23, 1939, the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret Melvin. Ann was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, VFW Post 1036 and the Eagles. She was the former owner of Newt's Frost Top; Ann was a mentor (mother) to many children during her lifetime. She had worked for H & R Block, Clark County Solid Waste, the Port Authority and Clark County Planning & Transportation. Ann was preceded in death by her husband George Shipley; daughter Tina Shipley and grandson Timothy Hensley. Survivors include her children Ron Shipley, Teresa Shipley-Law, Linda Wolfe and Lori Rogers; grandchildren Dustin, Seth, Paige and Woody; great-grandchildren Cathal, Brentley and Braxley. Services to honor Ann will be Friday at 1:00PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Family and friends may call from Noon until time of services. Burial to follow in Enon Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.

What a beautiful Soul Ann was. It was always a pleasure to see her smiling Countenance beaming at Church. She will be missed but we know now that Heaven has gained yet another Wonderful Soul.

Heaven has gained another Angel, she flew to God like a dove,
Our friend is now celebrating, with all the Glory and Radiant Love,
Yes, we'll miss our special times with you and remember fondly your Godly Devotion,
But we'll be excited for we know that you have now become one with Gods Beautiful, Heavenly Ocean.
So, friend, we'll tarry on and await the time, when we too can join you in Gods sky,
We'll only say so long for we know for certain that it's truly not a long, Goodbye.
