Daniel Shipley Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Sally Shipley (nee' Cloyd) of Marthasville; eight children: Dan Shipley Jr. and wife Theresa of Femme Osage, Sara Hiles of Columbia, Rebecca Barber and husband Anthony of New Haven, Josh Shipley and wife Carol of Marthasville, Elizabeth Barton and husband Jim of Washington, Deborah Kane and husband Patrick of Kirkwood, Teresa Feldhausen and husband Scott of Tucson, AZ, and Emily Monzyk and husband Nate of Marthasville; 26 grandchildren: Alex Hiles, Abagail Helfrich, Eley Barber, Isaac, Naomi, Malachi, Miriam, Rachel, Dominic, Jacob, Gabriel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel Shipley, Samuel Ascheman, Nathan, Matthew (Leiana), Ally, and Tristan Barton, Connor, Benjamin, Aidan, and Eliana Kane, Nick (Ashlyn), and Andrew Feldhausen, Norah, and Elise Monzyk; four great-grandchildren: AJ, Maverick, Laikyn, and Colton; two brothers: Joe Shipley of Erie, PA and Jim Shipley and wife Barb of NC; one sister, Christine Heid and husband John of Erie, PA; brother-in-law, Will Cloyd and wife Krys of Ocean City, MD; sister-in-law, Trisha Cloyd of Erie, PA; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Mr. Shipley was preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Miriam (nee' Kraus) Shipley; parents-in-law, Harold and Marie (nee' Cross) Cloyd; one granddaughter, Kelsey Barber; one great-grandson, Trevor Barber; his sister, Allene Brighton (late husband John), two sisters-in-law: Linda Shipley and Linda Folsom (late husband Charlie); and three brothers-in-law: Jim Heid, John Cloyd, and Eddie Cloyd.
A celebration of Dan's life and interment will be held privately.
The Shipley family is served by Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO.
