Percent, Lonnie PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Lonnie Percent, 73 of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at the Bayfront Health Port Charlotte following a long illness. Born on August 24, 1947, in Schenectady, she was a daughter of the late James Vincent and Elena Cardone Farina. Lonnie was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Schenectady for many years. She always would go out of her way to help others and will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know her. Lonnie is survived by her sons, James V. Percent and Ivor J. Percent; and four grandchildren, Siler, Juliana, Max and Mark. She was predeceased by her parents, James in 1977 and Elena in 2002. A graveside service to celebrate Lonnie's life will take place on Wednesday, December 30, at 3 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, N. Brandywine Ave., Schenectady. Social distancing guidelines must be met, and face masks are required. Memorial donations in Lonnie's memory may be made to the local AA chapter in your town.
