TERRY MADDOX Obituary
Age 80, passed away December 27, 2020, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born December 24, 1940, to Oris and Dorothy (Abner) Maddox in Middletown, OH. He served in the Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was owner and operator of Maddox Insurance Agency for 40 years, retiring in 2018. He was a devoted husband, father and papaw and was an avid UK basketball fan and enjoyed collecting coins. Terry is
survived by his son, Matt (Lisa Ferrell) Maddox and a daughter, Tracy (John) Morris; grandchildren, Hannah (Matt) Surfus and Sophia Gobbo and a special cousin, Daniel Raleigh. He is preceded in death by his wife in 2019, Rose Maddox; his
parents; step-father, Shelby Kash and sisters, Shelby Groves and Shirley Kash. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-
Parramore Funeral Home at 6850 Roosevelt Ave. The Celebration of Life service will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Masonic services will be held by the North College Hill Masonic Lodge. Interment will take place at Woodside Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.bakerstevensparramore.com.
