Constance Lou Maddox, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Commerce, Georgia, at the age of 82. Born on September 16, 1943, in Harlan, Kentucky, she was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by her strength, creativity, and deep commitment to her family and faith.

Constance dedicated her professional life to the construction industry, where she enjoyed a successful career as a Retired Home Builder with Nationwide Homes, specializing as a drywall mudder. Her expertise and work ethic left a lasting impact within the field, earning her respect from peers and clients alike.

She was a faithful member of the Vienna Church of God, where her contributions helped foster a spirit of community and support among her fellow congregants. Her devotion to her church reflected her passion for giving back, and she built many lasting friendships throughout her years there.

In her personal life, Constance was an adored mother and grandmother, cherishing her time spent with her loved ones. She is survived by her sons, William Hall and Tony Hall; her daughter, Mary Bradberry; her step-children, Travis Harper, Kay Pate, Gail Gillam, Huey Maddox, and Karen Maddox; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory forward.

Constance's legacy lives on through her family and friends who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and the indomitable spirit she showed throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Wilson and Erma Wilson Shackleford; her husband, Hue Clarence Maddox, with whom she shared 38 cherished years; her daughters, Tammy Sue Keen and Peggy Lynn Truesdell; and her grandson, Jeremy Schoon.

Her passing marks the loss of a vibrant life filled with love and dedication. Constance Lou Maddox will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
