George and I worked together in the Second District for the Dayton Police Department. We were Crew 212, unit D and unit E. He had exceptional interviewing skills. No matter how difficult the situation was, George was able to lesson the likelihood of things getting worst. When George was promoted, he left the Second District. We would run into each other now and then when he covered the Second District. After he retired, George and I continued our friendship. We would meet at Old Hickory on Brown Street for dinner. We also met a lot at Ruby Tuesday's. During those dinners, we laughed a lot about the past when we were partners.
A lot of great stories we had. George just wasn't my partner, he was my good friend. I looked so forward to our meetings. George, thanks for being such a wonderful part of my life. Melvin Dulin
