Bernard FITZPATRICK Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 3, 2021.
FITZPATRICK Bernard Bernard (Bernie) passed away peacefully on January 19, 2021. He was born in Motherwell, Scotland, on February 16, 1944 to John (Jack) Fitzpatrick and Annie Blake Fitzpatrick and moved to Canada in 1965. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth (Liz) Fitzpatrick, his children Bernard Fitzpatrick (Kathy), Moya Murray (Mark) and granddaughter
Mia Fitzpatrick. He will be dearly missed by his siblings May Merkle (Ron),
Ann Lenchak (Walter - predeceased), Elizabeth Fitzpatrick,
William Fitzpatrick and Theresa Meikle (Craig). His brother John passed away in 2012. He will also be missed by his many nephews, nieces and family and friends in Canada, Scotland, England the United States and Germany. Bernie was a lifelong Glasgow Celtic fan and a founding member of the Toronto Downtown Celtic Supporters Club. He loved to travel with family where good times and laughs were always in abundance. Bernie will be fondly remembered as a man who valued family and friends above all else and lived life to the fullest. So many cherished memories will be forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated. A funeral Mass and reception will be held once it is permissible.
