You have my heartfelt sympathy. Liz will be sadly missed. Whenever there was an SAI meeting at Liz´s house I signed up to perform. She was so special. I dedicated my piano duet "Chili Peppers" (published by Nouvelle Music Publishing) to her. She will always have a special place in my heart.

As an aquaintance of Elizabeth thru music club, I extend sympathy to you her family and I learned to appreciate her piano skills, dedication to music and others. May she rest in peace and may you have peace as you grieve and live forward.

To Ann and family: I just heard of your Mom's passing. I am so sorry; she was a lovely woman who added so much to this world! I have many happy memories of times with her and your Dad. There are memories of lunches with your Mom, and both happy and not-so-happy conversations in later years. Your Mom had a musical laugh that I absolutely loved. May many good memories of times with her bring you comfort.

Liz was Chris's best friend. Mom has many fond memories of Liz but one in particular was Liz's willingness to try and teach her Dad piano lessons while he was in his early 80's! Liz was very caring and patient with him but his arthritis in his hands ultimately made it a bit too challenging for both. However, Mom never forgot her compassion and resolve to teach. Mom also really looked forward to the bi-weekly lunch & shopping trips they had when both were living in the same neighborhood. Liz was a true friend to Chris and will be sincerely missed. God Bless.

Ann and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss of your Mother and family member. Liz, or as I called her Mrs. Vandevander while growing up, taught me how to play the piano through weekly lessons. I wasn't a very good student because I wouldn't practice. She knew that, but was always so kind to me and never had a curt word... My Mom and her were good friends and my Mom cherished their friendship. My Mom always looked forward to their shopping day and lunch included. I am so glad they got to see each other recently. We shall all meet up again. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Take Care.
