WESLEY BLACK Obituary
Age 69, departed this life November 4, 2021, in Carlisle, Ohio. A graduate of Roth High School, after graduating, he joined the U.S. Marines. Wes loved God, cooking, fishing and spending time with his family. A member of Mt. Calvary MB Church. Preceded in death by his brother, Walter A. McClendon, Jr. Survived
by parents Eloise and Oria Pridgen, sister Jackie Stevenson, nieces and nephews, LaTrisha (Sam) Stevenson, Marelle' (Marcus) Leach, Makai, Samuel Stevenson, IV, Walter Jr. (Cassandra) McClendon and Ava, two aunts and a host of other family and friends. Walk through visitation, 1PM, Monday, November 15, 2021, at H.H. Roberts Mortuary. Graveside services, 2 PM at Dayton National Cemetery.

To Wes' Family
I am so very sorry that I just now learned that Wes passed away. I sent a card last week to Carlisle Manor and yesterday the Social Worker notified me of losing Wes. He was a GREAT man and so much help to Russ when he was at Carlisle Manor both times. It is with an ache in my heart that we lost both Russ and Wes this year. God Bless All of you. Love and Prayers

I am VERY sorry to learn of Wesley's passing. For many years I delivered movies to him from the library and enjoyed our long chats. He was a wonderful, funny and uplifting man and will be GREATLY missed. I am blessed that I'd gotten the opportunity to know him.
