It was usually years between us seeing into each. But, his comforting, infectious, friendly smile would make it feel like it had on been a few days. Rest easy my friend, rest easy.

I am so saddened to hear of your family's loss. Ricardo and I would talk at the end of our Science Olympiad meetings. He was so friendly and willing to "shoot-the-breeze" over a variety of topics, including my interest in your little "smart car." He took a great interest in Brianna and her activities and academics. As a teacher, I enjoyed his enthusiasm and intellectual conversations. R.I.P. Ricardo, you will be missed.
