Nancy HOLLEY Obituary
July 26, 1934 - July 29, 2022
Beloved wife of the late Carl Holley; devoted mother of Susan (Steve) Bowman, Kathy (Dave) Jennings and five step-children; loving grandmother to many grandkids and great-grandkids; dear sister of the late Janet Fuller. Nancy enjoyed working for many years at the Miami University Athletic Ticket office. A memorial service for Nancy will be held at Faith Lutheran Church (420 S. Campus Ave.) in Oxford on Friday, August 5, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I feel honored to have worked with and known Nancy so personally during both my time as a student at Miami University and the time after I'd graduated. I worked with Nancy at the ticket office for years and always felt like we were family. She had a work ethic that wouldn't quit, a playfulness and sense of humor that we both shared, and kept a lookout for people she loved. She had a youthfulness about her that allowed her to connect with so many at Miami.
I'll never forget when Nancy ironed my graduation gown the day before the ceremony to make sure I looked sharp :). I visited her multiple times after I'd graduated and enjoyed spending time catching up with her at her house, at Kona Bistro, even Bob Evans where we shared a meal with my now-wife. I feel honored to have known Nancy and privileged to make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name. I'll miss her, and know that her family and friends know what a special woman she was.
