Ted HURST Obituary
Age 65 of Farmersville, OH, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2022, at Sycamore Hospital with his family by his side. Ted was born in Dayton, OH, to Clifford and Mary (Fox) Hurst and graduated from Preble Shawnee High School, class of 1975. Ted enjoyed reading, drawing and listening to music. He was a very devout man who loved children, his family and helping people. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Hurst in 2003. He is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Lynn Hurst, his son Josh Hurst, his mother Mary Lou Hurst and numerous extended family members and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 29, 2022, from 11:00am-12:00pm, funeral services will begin at noon, at the Arpp, Root and Carter Funeral Home, 29 N Main St. Germantown, OH, Burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis with Reverend James Woolery officiating. Lynn, I wish I had your address so that I could send a private message, but this will have to do. I remember when you first started dating Ted and when you got engaged. You were so happy and so in love! It was a beautiful thing to see. I attended the wedding shower that your family gave you. So upbeat! And I remember your joy when your son was born. Ted couldn´t have had a better wife than you, and I´m sure he appreciated you. I am so very sorry that he passed so young, but I know that you both know there is a Heaven, and it must be some comfort to know that he is there.

I am so sorry for your loss, he was so special and he saved my sanity so many times at work. Even though he retired, he and I called each other once in a while to check in. I will miss him.
