Donald S. Pohl Jr.

Donald S. Pohl, Jr., age 67, of Farmersville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 18th, 2026 under Cherish Hospice care in Springfield. He was born in Fairborn, Ohio, on October 18, 1958, son of the late Barbara (Weiland) and Donald S. Pohl, Sr. Don was a lifelong electrician working in the Dayton area for over 40 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and farming; he was most often found out at the farm engaging in one of these activities. He enjoyed NASCAR, motorcycles and watching the Cincinnati Bengals. Don was always willing to help friends or family with anything they asked, yet just stubborn enough to never ask for help. He enjoyed having a good time, was entertaining and never took himself too seriously; which made him liked by many. He is survived by his children Michael (Samantha Goyings) Pohl and Barbara Pohl ~ and their mother Kimberley Pohl; 2 grandchildren Nova & Delani Pohl; 2 brothers, Dave (Lori) Pohl and Doug (Joyce) Pohl; numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held January 28th, 2026 6pm – 8pm at the Dalton Funeral Home, 6900 Weaver Road, Germantown, Ohio. Please share condolences at daltonfh.net.
