I know Don best from the high school years picking up Kay and saying hello before a night on the town normally followed by Taco Bell. Over the years I have enjoyed all the family stories Kay has shared always hearing the caring and togetherness that the Lorenz family practiced with joy. I only see the tradition continuing but with one large gap, the loss of the leader, Don, to be replaced with more stories of remembering his many contributions and love. He will live on in all of you and will be missed. Peace be with him on his journey to heaven.

Don's life was well lived. A nicer guy couldn't be found anywhere. I'm sad that he passed as he will be missed by all; particularly by my cousin Marilyn. Prayers from the Indiana relatives for all in the family.

We are sad to hear of Don's passing. Don was the bass in my ear for almost 20 years at St. Andrew. , Don often shared a bleacher seat with us at Hilton Head High football games just because we loved Friday night high school football.. Once a Buckeye - always. I will not share our debates of Mid-American Conference rivalry. Friends like Don and Marilyn are rare and precious. Our best to the family.
