Leo Smith Obituary
Leo N. Smith, 90, of Urbana, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his home. Leo's grandson, Nicholas Smith, will officiate a funeral service at 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty. EICHHOLTZ DARING & SANFORD FUNERAL HOME, WEST LIBERTY is honored to serve the Smith family and encourages anyone to share a fond memory or message of condolence at www.edsfh.com.

This is a picture I have ,Leo (dad) and my dad when they were kids as they grew up together on Home Road in Springfield
Aunt Nancy was a close friend of my mom
And not knowing Libby and I become friends in probably 2nd grade , and have been close ever since . Shirley and I was a bit later in probably in 8 grade
The two of them had become my sisters and at the same time their mom and dad became my second mom and dad . And I loved the stories Dad would tell me about my Dad ( priceless )

Libby, Shirley, David and Clifford so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. You're in my thoughts and prayers. I have alot of good memories spending time with all of you. I'll never forget my second parents Mom and Dad Smith.
