I worked with Richard for many years at the VA hospital. He was such a kind and special person. My fondest memory was when he found out that I loved Bichon dogs, and he gave me his dog named Wesley. Richard would "babysit" for Wesley when I went on vacation. I´ll always remember Richard. My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends.

To the Horton family Please accept my since condolences.Richard was a Joy sweet, kind,and a lot of fun I met him at the VA.when we met we were immediately connected. He called me his big sis.I will always cherish those memories.RIP little brother.We will see each other again.I love you
