Judy Barnett Obituary

Judy Nell Barnett, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at her home in Byhalia, MS.

She was born on December 1, 1951 to the late Eugene and Cynthia Kelley in Memphis, TN. Judy worked as a dispatcher and later in special operations at MLGW and retired after 25 years. She was a faithful member at Bellevue Baptist Church. Judy enjoyed woodworking, DIY projects, gardening, cooking, and was an amazing artist. She also enjoyed reading her bible and doing genealogy work. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Cynthia Kelley.

She leaves behind three children, Kelly Waldrip (Steve), Sean Barnett (Stephanie), and Anthony Barnett (Jessica); a sister, Peggy Bohannon and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anna, and Skylar.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 1:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS.
