Sue Elizabeth Sondergelt passed away in Fort Myers, FL on Monday, February 5, 2024. Born March 4, 1946 to Robert and Betty (Hudson) Sondergelt. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Elizabeth. She leaves behind children, Joel, Joshua, and Amy. She will be laid to rest in her family plot at Ferncliff Cemetery, in Springfield, OH. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Elizabeth Anne Haarer Memorial Endowed Scholarship fund, University of Hartford, at 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117. Amy, Joel, and Joshua, I remember your mother from high school, Springfield North High, class of 1964. We were in Miss Rosemary Sundberg's Latin 2 class. I do not recall ever even speaking with your mother, and yet she made a lasting impression on me. She was so poised and so very smart. There was just something beautiful about her. She was "set apart", and now I know that was her faith. I cannot close without giving great praise to Sue's mother , your grandmother. What a legacy they left for you. I ask God's richest blessings on all of your family.
