My condolences to the family of my favorite gynecologist, Dr. Orr. I was one of his patient that had the then new laparoscopic surgery! Dr. Orr always had a gentleness about himself. My sister was also his patient and we called him the "the calming doctor". I remember when he left Atlanta and moved to the west coast. When I saw his name with Kaiser Permanente, I suppose if my husband had let me, I would have moved to San Diego so he could be my gynecologist again. He was truly a great doctor, to say the least!!
