Dan Moore Sr was a rock for the Black community and a gentle soul. He was a friend of our Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and we would like to say a few prayers on his passing:
- May Allah grant his community patience and strength during this difficult time.
- May Allah bless him and his family with peace and comfort.
In this time of grief, may Allah ease their sorrow and grant them solace.
- May Allah grant him a place in Jannah (paradise) and bless him with patience.
Amen!
From all the members of our community...

My dearest friend has made his journey. My heart aches because Dan Sr was my mentor and close friend. A gentle beautiful soul. I praise God that he introduced us when his youngest son was a youngster! My life would not be as it is, if not for Dan Sr.
He is already missed. You know missed where it brings this heart ache! I never knew a Black man so carrying for Black People! An author, a leader a husband, father, mentor and friend. I know the journey now taking is one filled with the light of the spirit! Hallelujah! Thank you Dan for helping me to appreciate my beautiful Black skin and showing me how powerful we are and will continue to Be! Peace be with you my mentor! Love ChaLu

I remember the beginnings of the Apex there existed a group of us cleaning the floors preparing exhibits for the museum, A rue preserver of history.
I enjoyed working with hm and members of the early staff. I can remember fun moments in preparing the facility for special openings. He made an impact. May God comfort his family.
