Dolores Jones Obituary
Dolores "Dee" Jones passed away on January 25, 2024, in Ponte Vedra, FL, at the age of 79. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dee spent over 20 years working at Eastern Airlines and as a mortgage banker for Home Bank in Atlanta, Georgia before retiring to Florida. She enjoyed traveling, fashion, and fine dining, and will be deeply missed by her two sons, Kirk Markham of Atlanta, GA, and Lonnie M. Hubbard II of Seattle, WA; as well as other family and friends. Honoring her wish, a celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at the St. Ives Country Club in Johns Creek, GA. Cremation entrusted to the St. John Family Funeral Home of St. Augustine, FL.

I remember when I first met Dolores. I thought she was so pretty and classy. As time went forward, I learned to appreciate the inner beauty as well as outer. Kirk and Lonnie, stay close to one another and cling to the memories that you have and can share of your mother. Time really does ease the sting of death. I will continue to pray for your strength and comfort. Love you, cousins!

Dolores, I will forever cherish the precious time you spent with me in Chicago when I was just a kid. Tagging along with my older, absolutely stunning cousin was priceless to me! I really miss our most recent conversations and messages to each other. My heart aches that you have left us, but I know that you are rejoicing in Heaven. See you later Beautiful.
