Kristopher Lizee Obituary
FLORENCE, MA - Kristopher Mark Lizee, 44, of Spring Street in Florence passed away peacefully on Sunday April 7, 2024, surrounded by his family at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, after a brief illness. Kris was born in Northampton, the son of Mary (Boynton) Lizee and the late Elie R. Lizee. He was educated in local schools. Kris worked for Prospect Meadow Farm in Hatfield for many years, he enjoyed raising market crops and caring for the animals, contributing in a meaningful way to the rich agricultural life of the Pioneer Valley. He leaves his mother, Mary Lizee of Florence and his cousin, Melissa Perry who was devoted to Kris's care throughout his life. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kris loved people, playing his guitar, and listening to Rock & Roll. He loved watching the History Channel and especially the show "How It's Made". There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. where Kris's ashes will be interred alongside his father. Donations in his memory may be made to Prospect Meadow Farm, c/o ServiceNet, 21 Olander Drive, Northampton, MA 01060 (www.servicenet.org/donate/) or Shriners Hospital, Spfld Unit, 516 Carew St., Spfld., MA. 01104

Kris was a great guy. He used to come to my house and ask me what I was cooking because he knew I always had a plate for him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Kris was loved and I will never forget him.

Mary. I'm so sorry for your loss. Kris was a great kid. Always made me laugh and never a dull moment with Kris around. He was one of a kind. That saying . Only the good die young is so true. You gave Kris the best life he could have asked for and he was lucky to have you.

Kris you were one of a kind my friend. Always wanting to see people smile and laugh and you were very good at making that happen. One of my funnies memories of you was when you snuck up behind your cousin and friend FRED CIAGLO and smacked him on the back of his bare thighs with your wiffle ball bat. Then you dropped it and ran like the wind .
You'll be missed buddy. No doubt about it. You had a good life. Your Mom took the best care of you . You were very lucky to have her as your Mom. We both had the best of Mom's. Rest peacefully my friend and when you see me coming through the gates stay away with the wiffle ball bat. Lol. Ill love and miss you Kristopher. Godspeed.

My condolences to Kris' family. I will miss Kris dearly at the farm and all of our drives to and from work. I'll miss hearing him talk about his dad who he spoke about often, his love of prime rib and our shared love of 80s rock and dogs- especially his sweet dogs. I'm sure Kris is soaring high. May he rest in the sweetest eternal peace.
