Bonnie Paquette Obituary

Bonnie Paquette

Bennington, NH - Bonnie (Adams) Paquette, 65, of Bennington NH, passed away on April 13th, 2024, at Concord Hospital, surrounded by her family. The daughter of Ruth Greeley and Robert Adams, she was born on November 20th, 1958, at Monadnock Community Hospital.

Bonnie grew up in West Wilton, spending her youth among grandparents and many cousins. She graduated from Wilton-Lyndeborough High School in 1976 and went on to graduate from Saint Joseph's School of Nursing to become an RN. Most of Bonnie's nursing career was spent at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene. She had recently retired, looking forward to doing the things she loved, like shopping with her granddaughter, baking, planting flowers and making beautiful quilts. Unfortunately, her cancer diagnosis 4 weeks ago changed that hope.

Bonnie is predeceased by her grandparents Hattie and Vernon Greeley, and her parents Ruth and Robert Adams. She is survived by her two children, Timothy Paquette of Bennington, Emily Paquette, and her fiancé Jason Murphy, both of Antrim. Her granddaughter, Kaylee LaGasse of Antrim, four sisters; Gail Britton of Windsor VT, Judy and Jim Boutwell of Keene, Nancy and Phillip LaBossiere of Tilton, Pam and Nick Kenny of New Ipswich, and her brother Brian and Libby Adams of Wilton, as well as her aunt, Joyce Fisk of Wilton, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 27at 11:00 AM at the Vale End Cemetery in Wilton NH.

There will be a gathering at Pam and Nick's house at 23 Kenney Road, New Ipswich NH following the service. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Bonnie's name to the American Cancer Society, Uterine Cancer Research.

Will miss my friend and fellow retiree. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family; she was filled with love for all of you. Even as she battled at the end she remained ever the nurse, getting help for a patient who was in dire need that we could see from her hospital window. Her strength, wisdom, and unwavering sense of humor will remain ever in my heart.

Bonnie and I worked together over a span of 27 yrs at Cheshire Med. She was a great nurse with exceptional assessment skills. She spoke often of her children and her granddaughter who brought her great joy. My heart goes out to her family. Audrey Wiita

Bonnie and I worked together for years. We shared many happy times, get togethers at my house, quilting ideas. I was so glad we were able to talk these past few weeks while she was in the hospital. My condolences to all the family. You will be missed.
