Mrs. Shirley Ann Pearson of SW Atlanta, passed April 17, 2024. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM, Murray Brothers Chapel. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 10:30 AM on the day of service. Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Shirley Pearson. May the peace of God rest heavily upon each of you. I first met her through the sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and later had the honor of working for her during my last quarter at Fort Valley State. She was always very kind and compassionate. When we received the news of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., her presence was both comforting and encouraging. She certainly made an indelible impression on my life!
