Jupiter, FL - With saddened hearts and joyous memories, we share the passing of Barbara Whitcomb Bascetta on April 29, 2024. She passed peacefully in Jupiter, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Barbara is survived by her husband, Thomas Bascetta and her three children,Tracy Bascetta, Jon Bascetta, Jenn Campo and her husband Charles Campo. Barbara has five beautiful grandchildren - Jessica, Christopher, Jonathan, Carsen, and Camilla. She is survived by her brother Robert Whitcomb of Keene, NH and his family.

Barbara spent most of her life as a resident of New Hampshire. Both Barbara and her husband Tom graduated from the University of Miami in Florida where they first met, fell in love, and married. In later years, Barbara and Tom resided in Florida as well as New Hampshire. Throughout her life Barbara enjoyed horseback riding, skiing, golf, the love of travel, and attending musicals. She was an active volunteer for many organizations. Most of all Barbara loved being "Baba" to her grandchildren.

Barbara touched so many lives. Her smile radiated love, kindness, and understanding to everyone. She will be remembered as the perfect wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a very dear friend to all who knew her. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

A private memorial gathering will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, a tribute gift may be made to The Jupiter Medical Center Foundation in her honor and memory.
