Ms. Miller tried to get Faulkner through our thick heads at Sheffield, and back in the day when high school students could go on field trips took us to Oxford, MS, to meet some of his family and get to know the author on another level. She was also one of my Daddy's customers at Morris Hardware, so we went to her home a couple of times for repairs. Times have changed, but I bet Ms. Miller didn't. May she rest in PEACE. Cathy Brake

Memphis Kennel Club Officers and members extend our deepest condolences to the family of loved ones of Eva Miller! Eva was a long-time member of our club and served in a number of ways to the betterment and education of our club. During her last most active years she secured valuable and educational programs for our members at our monthly meetings. All of us will continue to miss Eva and will always remember her fondly! Sincerely, Susan Yates, Memphis Kennel Club Sunshine Committee.

Eva was one of my teachers at Sheffield High School who had a tremendous impact on my desire to write correctly, regardless of the format. Her English classes were structured to make you recognize writing mistakes and understand how to use proper grammar. I remember as a kind gentle soul, with the roar of a lion. She will truly be missed. Rest well, English mentor!!!
