Mary Gaul Obituary
Concord, NH - Mary Elisabeth Gaul, of Concord, NH, and formerly Folsom, PA, died August 3, 2024, at the age of 73. She was the first child of Mary Alice Colbert and Harry Gaul. She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Susan.
Mary graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and committed her life to the labor movement, starting as a shop steward working for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, then becoming a business agent with the Pennsylvania Social Services Union, SEIU Local 668, and finally working as a field representative, a uniserv director, for NEA-New Hampshire, a chapter of the National Education Association. She retired in 2010.
Mary loved her garden, books, music and many pet cats over the years. She sang the Messiah with the Concord Community Chorus for many years. Mary loved and was loved by her family and her many dear friends, some dating back to childhood. She is survived by her cousin, Janet Lindh Loftus, of Aston, PA, and her family.
Internment will be in Pennsylvania at the family's convenience.
