Gary C. Whitaker, 74, of Meany Road died at his home on October 23, 2024. He was born September 20, 1950, in Brattleboro, VT, the son of Stuart C. Whitaker and Erma Day Whitaker. He was a 1969 Graduate of Fall Mountain High School in Langdon, NH. He worked for Hubbard Farm and later for Walpole School.
Survivors include one son, Devin R. Anderson of Chesterfield, NH, three daughters, Heidi J. Anderson and Adam McNamara of Charlestown, NH, Niccole R. Smith and Anthony Smith of Fayetteville, TN, Bridget D. Fox and Thomas Fox of Petersburg, TN, two sisters, Bonnie Lurvey of Charlestown, NH, Brenda and Gavin Edwards of Winter Haven, FL, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Linda Muise and Gina Nason, one great-grandson, Greyson Shane Silverio.
Gary loved watching pulling horses at the fair and spending time with his daughter and grandkids.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the Village Cemetery Walpole, NH. A celebration of life will follow in the Charlestown Town Hall from 2:00-5:00pm
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fenton and Hennessey Funeral Home, 55 Westminster Street, Bellows Falls, VT 05101.
