Katherine Killeen Obituary
Greenfield, MA - Katherine A. Killeen, 69, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Greenfield on September 20, 1955, the daughter of late William Killeen, Sr. and Joan (Daley) Killeen. Kathy attended Greenfield schools and raised her children in Turners Falls. As a mom of two young daughters, she received an associate degree from Greenfield Community College and worked for many years at Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company. She was passionate about animals (deeply loving her cat Chloe) and enjoyed chatting about anything and everything. She was an endless source of love and support for her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Kathy leaves her beloved children, Susan Osowski of Seattle, WA and Laurie O'Connor of Andover, MA, son-in-law Sean O'Connor and her pride and joy, granddaughter Kira O'Connor, also of Andover, MA. She also leaves behind a sister, Karen Killeen of Turners Falls, and three brothers, John (Jack) Killeen of Bernardston, Terrence (Terry) Killeen and James (Jimmy) Killeen, both of Greenfield, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother, William (Billy) Killeen.
At her request, services will be limited to a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA.

Suzie and Laurie, So sorry to hear of the loss of you mom. She was one of my dearest friends in high school. So many great memories came rushing back of those days. Our lives grew apart, but the times we spoke in our later years she was always so proud of the women you became. May you and the Killeen clan find comfort in remembering the good times.

To The Killeen Family,my deepest condolences in the passing of Kathy,how well I remember all of you just living a street apart as a child me on Barton road and your family on Brookside avenue,May you rest in peace Kathy,may your daughters have peace knowing you will be watching down upon them and karen and your brothers terry and Jimmy as well,may you all lean on one another for support at thios very sorrowful time for you,God Bless You Killeen Family.
