Rees (Royer), Kathryn Elizabeth "Kathy"

Born January 11, 1961 | Died December 30, 2024

Kathryn Elizabeth Royer Rees, 63, of Lexington, KY passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024 after a long battle to survive a double lung transplant. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Thurston Royer. She is survived by her father, Edwin (Etta) Royer of Enon, OH, daughter, Elizabeth (Lizzy) Rees of Montgomery Village, MD, Sister Laurie (Steven) Pullins of Maryville, TN, brothers Daniel Royer of Lexington, KY, Douglas Royer of Columbus, Ohio & stepbrother David Sheldon of Houston, TX. She was a 1979 graduate of Centerville High School & a 1983 graduate of the University of Dayton. A graveside service & Celebration of Life will be held on March 22, 2025 in Greenville, OH. In lieu of flowers & other memorials the family is requesting donations to help with End of Life expenses. Details can be found at https://gofund.me/286b04dc.
