Brennan, Diane C.

Brennan, Diane C., age 87 of Dayton, OH passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. She was born in London, OH on February 22, 1937 to the late Roy and Electa Cary. Preceding her in death was her husband of 64 years, James M. Brennan. Diane is survived by her daughter Lisa Brennan and sister-in-law Mary Jane Brennan.

Diane was a graduate of Mount Carmel Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She received a Bachelors of Science in Education from University of Cincinnati in 1976, and a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wright State University in 1979. Diane enjoyed her nursing career and she practiced in a variety of specialty areas, including public health, labor & delivery, critical care & rehabilitation medicine. She worked the majority of her career at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Diane loved her family, friends, and her assortment of pets over the years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking a wonderful meal, and swimming at the Washington Township Recreation Center with all her pool buddies. Diane touched the lives of many over her life and will be deeply missed. Special thanks and love to friends, Luella Walker and Patricia O'Malley who walked with Diane and her daughter during this long journey. Donations in memory of Diane can be made to Catholic Social Service of the Miami Valley, St. Vincent de Paul Charities, or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. Services are private, final resting place will be in David's Cemetery in Dayton, OH. Serving the family is WESTBROCK FUNERAL HOME, 5980 Bigger Rd.
