Helen Coolidge Obituary
Allenstown, NH - Helen Theresa Messer Coolidge, 78, of Allenstown, NH passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Helen was born on November 13, 1946 to Joseph D. Messer and Helen M. Messer in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Married on September 13, 1969, Helen was the beloved wife of 55 years to David A. Coolidge. Following their nuptials, Helen and David moved to New Hampshire in October of 1969 where Helen worked for Kelley Girl Temp Jobs and Stop+Shop as a cashier. Helen was co-owner of Apex Kitchens for 40 years, alongside her husband. Helen finished her working career as a cashier for the NH Liquor Commission.
Helen's passion was her many dogs over the years. Her greatest love was walking her dogs with all her dog walking friends.
Helen was predeceased by her sister, Sarah M. Wedge, and her brother, Joseph D. Messer, Jr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters, Rita M. Messer, Kathleen J. Messer, Evelyn P. Messer, Carol A. Messer; her niece, Amy E. Heath; Nephew, Gene E. Heath; and great niece, Samantha R. Heath.
ARRANGEMENTS: No services will be announced at this time. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Manchester. Dear friend, you will be missed. Lots of memories from Bone Builders and the fun we had while we stained the shingles for the roof. I am sure you are enjoying all your pets who have been waiting for you. Dave, my deepest sympathy. Helen was special.
