My first meeting with Reg was at the Barrett School, where he stood every morning outside the class building with a ready smile and a warm greeting. He wore his passion for the banking industry like a well-tailored suit-visible, confident, and entirely his own. His enthusiasm was infectious; even those of us unsure of what our final career paths would bring, found ourselves drawn in by his stories, insights, and unwavering belief in the transformative power of community banking.
Reg´s legacy lives on in the countless professionals he mentored, the communities strengthened by his vision, and the spirit of leadership and service he so effortlessly modeled.
A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to his family, for sharing him with us and for supporting the work that allowed him to inspire so many.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Reg's passing. He was not only a remarkable leader and colleague but also a generous mentor who had a lasting impact on my life and career. I will always be grateful for his guidance, integrity, and the kindness he and Betty Carol extended to everyone around them. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you and your family. Lisa H. Fite Barret School of Banking/Bank3

So sad to hear on Thursday at Story Point of Reg going to be with Jesus on Wednesday. Got to hug Betty Carol who came to the devotional on Thursday. Reg was a living testimony of a man who believed in Jesus and all the promises Jesus made to his followers. Because Jesus Lives, Reg, Betty Carol, and all believers will live forever in heaven.
