Neena Burrington Obituary
Heath, MA - Neena L. Burrington, 70 died April 22,2025 at Greenfield Rehabilitation and Nursing Center while on New England Hospice surrounded by family. She was born on October 19,1954 in Greenfield, MA, to Paul Burrington and Nancy (Chattin) Burrington.
Neena attended Heath Branch School, Rowe Elementary School, Mohawk Regional HS and classes at GCC. She loved counted cross stitch, crafts and the Red Sox. Her design was used for the US Biathlon Olympic pin in 1988. Her love was" Gracie" her dog. Over the years she worked at Haystack, Snowbird, as a nurse's aide and at Yankee Candle.
Neena was predeceased by her parents and beloved nephew Justin Beebe. Neena is survived by sisters Betsy (Burrington) Beebe and Susan Burrington (partner Dr. Robert Miller), a brother Frederick Burrington, nieces Carrie Croteau, Amy Croteau and Jessica Beebe. She also leaves a large extended family.
A graveside ceremony will be on June 7,2025 at the Heath South Cemetery followed by a small gathering at the Heath Union Church, 5 East Main St, Heath Mass.
Smith and Kelleher Funeral Home assisted the family.
