Thomas Smith Obituary
Thomas Christopher Smith, age 24, resident of Whiteville, Tennessee, departed this life Friday, July 18, 2025.
Thomas was born February 13, 2001 in Germantown, Tennessee, the son of Virginia Kennon Gruthoff and the late Thomas Smith, Sr. He was employed in construction and enjoyed shooting guns and racing anything with wheels. Thomas was a fan of Alabama football.
Thomas is survived by his son, Noah Christopher Ryder Harris; his mother, Virginia Gruthoff and her husband, Steven; his maternal grandparents, Larry Marbry and Brenda Marbry; and his sister, Briana Smith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cecil Smith and Velma Sue Smith.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers or memorials, to “pay it forward”.
“He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.”
