Margaret was a beautiful, fun, intelligent and caring friend. She invited me to join the Friendship Force of Memphis and the Spanish study/dinner group when I moved to Memphis from Naples, Florida eight years ago. I succeeded her as President of the Friendship Force. We miss her energy, enthusiasm and "joie de vivre" in all she did in these organizations and all of life. Sail on to the Light.

Margaret welcomed me to Friendship Force in 2022 after I retired from Dyersburg State Community College. We also enjoyed the same Spanish class. I was always impressed by her sense of adventure, her curiosity and her determination to improve her understanding of the Spanish language and culture. I will miss her friendship and companionship in our weekly Spanish classes.

My condolences to Margaret´s family. I only knew Margaret for a year and we became close quickly. She was sweet and invited me and my husband to all her activities that she and Jim would do. I hope to follow her ideals and enjoy life to the fullest. I will miss her so much. As do all the pickleball group.
