Harry Chapin Obituary
Millers Falls, MA - Harry M. Chapin, 68 of Millers Falls, Massachusetts passed away peacefully at his home on November 11th, 2025. Harry was employed by UMass Amherst for 40 years, and he was also a retired Firefighter for the Leverett Volunteer Force for 30 years. Harry loved spending time with family, as well as riding his motorcycle.
Harry is survived by his mother Alice Chapin (Brown), His brothers Edward Chapin (Jane), and Ted Chapin (Chris), as well as his sister Janet Peters (Lawrence), His stepdaughter Tina Verchot, and Jacobo Roque, as well as 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Harry was predeceased by his father, Raymond Chapin, his sister Sue Smith and the love of his life Judith Verchot.
