Gardner, MA - Norman Robichaud, 98, of Gardner, MA (Formerly of Athol, MA) passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, surrounded by family & friends, at Life Care Center of Leominster.

Norman, son of Silver & Theotise (Mallet) Robichaud, was born March 28, 1927, in Athol, MA.

At 17 years of age, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he earned the rank of Coxswain during the battle of WWII. His active duty began in 1944 until his Honorable Discharge in 1946.

Upon returning to the states, Norman took residence in Athol, where he had many different occupations but was most proud of and held in high regard for his titles of mechanic and machinist.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and yardwork, but truly had a passion for simply being outside.

Walks and time spent with his grandchildren were some of his most treasured memories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Silver & Theotise; his wife of 58 years, Norma "Becky" Robichaud; (7) brothers, and (3) sisters.

Norman is survived by his children: Daughter, Linda (Robichaud) George & spouse Tommie; Son, Douglas Robichaud & spouse Connie; Son, Michael Robichaud; Daughter, Heidi (Robichaud) Brown & spouse Joseph; Son, Scott Robichaud & spouse Deborah; (10) Grandchildren: Matt & Danny George, Jack & Sam Robichaud, Ian Robichaud & Kyle Robichaud-Fuentes, Gabrielle & Nick Brown, and Elise (Robichaud) Liuzza & Owen Robichaud; and (2) Great Grandchildren: Emma & Alex George.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Mack Family Funeral Homes, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, MA. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:30PM.

The Burial will follow services at Gethsemane Cemetery, Fielding Way, Athol, MA, with Navy Honors
