Patricia Taylor Obituary
Wilder, VT - Patricia (Pat) Horvath Taylor, 90, of Wilder, VT, died on December 29, 2025.
Pat was born on April 13, 1935 in Proctor, VT with a twin brother, Peter, and older sister, Katherine; their parents were Peter and Ida Horvath. She graduated from UVM and moved to McIndoes Falls for her first job as teacher/coach.
From there, Pat accepted a position at the Hartford, VT School District where she taught science then math. She met the love of her life, Bob Taylor, and had a daughter Dawn.
Pat stayed in the school system until her final retirement in 2000, at which time she and Bob started traveling to Florida, Maine, and Europe. When Bob died in 2012, Pat spent time on the Bugbee Senior Center's board and enjoying friends. She frequently traveled to Maine visiting her daughter in Portland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in White River Junction, VT.
Knight Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook found at www.knightfuneralhomes.com
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Bugbee Senior Center at 262 N. Main St., White River Junction, VT 05001.

Mrs Taylor was my Science teacher at HHS. She married my math teacher & they continued to teach many lucky kids at Hartford High. Rest in Peace with your wonderful husband.
