Mary Fink Obituary
Orefield, PA - Mary Juliette (Whitney) Fink, 79, of Orefield, PA, formerly of Concord, NH, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of John Wayne Fink, whom she was married 27 years. Born in Charlevoix, MI, March 22, 1946, Mary was the daughter of the late William Wallace and Maxine Elizabeth (Garnett) Whitney. She was employed as a receptionist for AT COMM Corporation in Manchester, NH before retiring. Mary's life was defined by generosity, kindness, and an unwavering concern for others. She went out of her way to care for the people she loved and never hesitated to help anyone in need. Her outgoing spirit and loving heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband; siblings, Jeanne Whitney, Fora Whitney, Diane Pardee, Susan Whitney, Hyler Whitney, John Whitney; many nieces and nephews.
Service: A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm. Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or Shriners Hospitals for Children both in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.

Mary was a dear neighbor of ours in Concord and Lake Street neighbors miss her friendly and caring touch. She would always leave a bag of garden tomatoes on my porch every August...she kept a lovely garden and was a special neighbor.

Generosity, kindness, concern and love of others, there is no better way to describe such an amazing lady. Mary befriended my mom ( Helen Murray) at our family greenhouse in NH while she was likely buying some plants to plant for a friend of hers. My mom enjoyed many trips to " no where" as well as shopping for necessities with Mary. She was a lifeline out of the house indeed, and so VERY appreciated. Mary´s laughter and beautiful way of looking at life will always be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to John, her family and all who loved her.
