Theresa Brodeur Obituary
Hatfield, MA - Theresa Rosalia Brodeur (Sarafin) (Mimi to those who knew her best) of Hatfield, Massachusetts, 87, passed unexpectedly on March 20, 2026. Theresa was born and raised in Northampton, Massachusetts on August 25, 1938 to Martin and Agnes Sarafin (Kowalczyk).
She met the love of her life, George, and married him in 1956. They were together until George's passing in 2012. Theresa then moved to Hatfield and lived with her daughters. Theresa worked for Belchertown State School, Pro Brush, Channing Bete Co. and retired as a daycare/headstart provider.
Theresa loved spending time with her family when she wasn't at the casino. Theresa loved spending summer weekends in the backyard with Tyler, Reilly, Nicholas and Vanessa listening to their funny stories about the week's events. She was an avid Patriot's fan.
Theresa is survived by her children Ronald Brodeur and his wife Debbie; Karen Brodeur, Stephen Brodeur and his wife Carol and Janice Leary. Theresa is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler and his fiancée Reilly, Nicholas and his girlfriend Vanessa, Matthew and his wife Chelsea and two great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at Czelusniak Funeral Home in Northampton on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 10am. A Calling Hour will precede the service from 9:00-10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Northampton.

I was heartbroken to read about Terri, I grew up with Steve & the rest of the "Brodeur Kids". Later in life I was her Hairdresser & I had a hard time getting used to calling her Terri & not Mrs. Brodeur, She would come in the Salon & laugh & say " I'm Terri" & laugh more! She loved her shopping & deals, and Casinos but most of all She loved loved her kids! She talked so much about all of you (always smiling) I felt like I knew the grandkids too! She so much missed George, dance away Mr. & Mrs. B!! Sending much love & hugs to all of you
