Frank Hernandez Obituary

Frank Bustamante Hernandez, Jr. Frank Bustamante Hernandez, Jr., was tragically killed during combat in Tal Afar, Iraq on February 17, 2005. Frank was born on February 23, 1983 in Las Cruces, NM and served in the US Army's 2/14 CAV stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA. He is survived by his loving wife Cristin; son Aiden; parents Frank Sr. & Mary; brother Johnny; sisters Mary "Susie" Hernandez-Alday & Jessica Marie Hernandez; grandfather Daniel Hernandez and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew. Frank will always be remembered for his love of baseball & golf, as a good hearted person, as a person who brought a smile to everyone's face and he was considered a very funny person. "Frankie B. You will always be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, son & brother. We will miss you greatly. At Ease Soldier." Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Chapel 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 6180 W. Utopia. A college fund has been established at Wells Fargo Bank for Frank's son Aiden Eames ACCT#5533806732, his nephew Richard Alday ACCT#5533806054 and his sister Jessica Marie Hernandez ACCT#5533806062.
