Jordan we think of your sacrifice on this significant day that Osama Bin Laden has fallen and been judged for his evil doings, his hatred for the rest of the west and killing of so many innocent people whose blood was shed in the name of this extremist jihadist religion. I know you find peace and know he was judged accordingly for these heinous acts. Rest in Peace my "Forever 21" Angel. love and kisses yo momma!!!

Remembering the day you where born which is in about 30 minutes 25 years ago from the time I write this. 36 hours of labor and a C-Section. You certainly are unforgettable. We were in Arlington this past weekend sitting under your holly tree. Nana came and Ethan is doing so much better about you being with the Lord. He is growing up to be the man you would want him to be. You would be so proud as we are of you. Dad and I went to the park early this morning to sit with you and pray together. We miss you so so much. Greg and Kathy are working on the 4th annual ride and we still are amazed it is four years.....another scholarship was given to a young man wanting to become a part of the most elite fighting force USMC. From one of your moms favorite movies..."Marines die, that's what we're here for. But the Marine Corps lives forever. And that means YOU live forever.

JCP you would have been 24 this past week, your bro graduated and enters the halls of your High School to carry on the Pierson Legacy. I am incredibly awed by my two sons. I know you have been called to a Higher Purpose and those below miss you and one day will understand....you are in our thoughts and as I watched a piece on Winston Churchill our English ancestry made me understand my beloved footsoldier...in the words of Churchill on June 4, 1940
"We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender." and so my son you fought bravely for your nation to the end. I think of your son often. I was there when they brought him in to Fallujah Surgical. I have thought of and struggled with all casualites of this war that I was there to see but your son's death affected me in a way that I can't describe. I have his date of death tattooed on my wrist because I need a reminder. That reminder is the day where my life as I now know it began and unfortunately the day that your son's ended. I will never forget him or what he gave me. I had never met him before that day, but I know that he lives with you and many others in spirit. I only hope that one day I will fully understand why his death impacted me so much. I believe now it was so that I could continue to live my life in a way that I wasn't living it before. I hope you are well.

To all who loved Jordan and to those who never knew him and honor us by contacting us and gifting us from their hearts with kindness.
It has been two years and Jordans spirit lives on so strongly. Every day I learn more about this child of mine who lived life to the fullest who had the ability to do what we are all destined to do to fulfill our destiny, our lifes work. Jordan did this with a passion. I want to thank all of you who have put up these beautiful pictures of Jordan. His smile and determination that comes through bring us great comfort. His smile lingers on in our memories along with the antics that went along with it....that also is Jordans legacy...
God Bless you all and keep you in His care. As I have gotten to know the fallen soldiers families it has been said there is a common demoninator with those who were lost and that was their inatural ability to make us smile. Heaven must be in joyous laughter will all the Angels that have gone on from this war.
Thank you again The Pierson Family,
Eric, Ethan, Jordan in Heavan and Beverley

Dear Pierson Family,
I realize there is NOTHING that could be said to you that could ever ease the loss that your family has endured... I wouldn't even begin to try.
I simply felt the need to convey my deepest, heart felt condolences, to those that lived nearest me...
I SIMPLY HAD TO reach out to those that lived closest to me and let their families know that the sacrifice that their SONS & DAUGHTERS have made ARE NOT, and WILL NOT be forgotten, and were not made in vain!
We gladly add your beloved son to our prayers, along with ALL of our other fallen Sons & Daughters!
God Bless YOU and YOUR FAMILY, and "MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH YOU!"

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
August 2, 2007
If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guest book for the rest of my life, but I promised LE RON A. WILSON (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.
