Dear Kathy,
My deepest condolence. In better times, at a neighborhood meeting in my Watchung Avenue office, Bill with a pithy statement, "if Wetfield can be known as Colonial Westfield why can't Plainfield promote itself as Victorian Plainfield? And with those memeorable words, Plainfield's historic preservation movement was born. I'm sorry to miss the service. I am in San Diego or would be there to say good by to a good person and a friend of many years.
With deep sympathy,
Bill Hetfield
