Lillian Stratton Obituary

Remembering Lillian Stratton VISTA -- Lillian Stratton was born in London, Ontario, Canada in 1921. She grew up in London where she helped her mother run a boarding house during the Great Depression. She met and married Leonard, a young Captain in the Canadian Army, during WWII and they embarked upon building a life together. Lillian and Leonard lived in London until 1952 when they moved to Vista to raise their family. This amazing mom raised and nurtured four children as well as managing the books for the family home building business and lumber yard. Lillian is survived and will be sorely missed by her daughters, Bonnie Stratton Muehlner (Carlsbad), and Karen Stratton Lloyd (Park City, Utah); as well as her sons, Jim Stratton (Anchorage), and Rob Stratton (Laguna Hills). In addition, Lillian was dearly loved and will be missed by her grandchildren, Richard Lloyd (Nashville), Brian Lloyd (Park City), Kurt Muehlner (Portland), Taya DiAngelo (Philadelphia), Jack Stratton (Santa Clara), Natalie Stratton (Portland), and Caroline Stratton (Laguna Hills). Last but certainly not least, Lillian is survived by three great- grandchildren, Finley and Dylan Lloyd (Park City, Utah), and Grayson DiAngelo (Philadelphia). Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, November 12, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside. Sign the Guest Book online obits.nctimes.com

Sorry for your loss! She was so proud of all her kids. We were pew mates at Vista Com. Church . Lost touch when she moved from Vista. The last card I sent, I asked her to have someone call and let us know how she was doing. Some time ago several friends from church inquired about her. Sincerely, Dorothy Sullivan
