ZUK--Judith. The Board of Trustees, staff and auxiliary of Brooklyn Botanic Garden are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved President Emeritus, Judith D. Zuk. Judy's inspiring legacy at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, in New York and throughout the public-garden world is peerless, and is certain to be honored by generations of gardeners to come. We send our heartfelt condolences to her family as we mourn the passing of one of public horticulture's great visionaries. A memorial service at BBG to celebrate her life, Sunday, September 23 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please direct gifts to Brooklyn Botanic Garden in memory of Judith D. Zuk. Earl D. It was a distinct honor and privilege not only to work for but to know Judy, a dedicated individual who with her beautiful smile could charm an entire room. Her legacy is that she provided the foundation and inspiration for all who knew her to continue her vision of how important horticulture plays a part in our everyday life.
