Robert H. Flinn

FLINN--Robert H., of New York and Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Rye, NY, passed away September 28th, 2007 after a long illness. Husband to Charlotte; father to Leslie Flinn, Colin Flinn, Evan Saucedo and Douglas Flinn; father-in-law to Susan Flinn and Eric Saucedo; grandfather to Jackson Saucedo and Robert G. Flinn. Son of the late Irene and Harry Flinn and friend to many. A life long athlete, Bob Flinn was a basketball star in his youth for Mamaroneck High, Colgate University and in the Navy during the Korean War. He was also a successful entrepreneur and financier. With his father, he owned Flinn Motor Corp. He was founder and president of Eco Leasing Corp. and Flinn Capital Corp. and a developer of Audubon at Naples, Frenchmen's Creek and other successful ventures. A funeral mass will be held at 11am at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY on Wednesday, October 3rd with a reception to follow at Apawamis Club in Rye. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colgate University in Hamilton, NY or to Catholic Charities.
