Dear Sharon and Barbara: Annie Harris found and sent your mother's obituary to me. I want you to know how sorry I am that she has gone on. She was a wonderful business woman and bright and fun and we all loved her. It was my good fortune to work with her - those memories are happy. Both your Mom and your Dad were such good people - sensitive, kind and fair! May the memories you and your children have sustain and comfort you - I can imagine how much you miss her. My sympathy and love to you all. Anne Lorentzen

It was with great sadness that I read of your mother's passing in the NYT. Your mother was my boss when I worked at Bellinger Davis along with Anne Lorentzen and Deedee Nixon and others.
We adored her. She was kind thoughtful, business-like and had a
wonderful sense of humor. I have many wonderful memories of your mother which I will cherish forever. Please acept my deepest sympathy to each and everyone of you. Ann Harris

Dear Sharon
I rented your mother's condo in Sea Oaks, Vero Beach for one month a few years ago. I wondered about the woman who had such a beautiful place to spend winter. I enjoyed her kitchen and the swimming pool across the street and her famous view of the intercoastal. Although I did not know your mother, please believe I had a sense of a lovely woman full of life when I stayed at Sea Oaks. Shirley must have been a very special mother and you were lucky to have her so long. But I imagine you would have enjoyed having her with you longer.
sincerely, Suzanne
