Richard LaPersonerie Obituary

LaPERSONERIE - Richard E., of Narrowsburg, NY and longtime resident of the area, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 10, 2008. He was 64. The son of the late Marshall E. and Mary Shay LaPersonerie, he was born October 25, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY. He was married for 21 years to Michelle Porcelyn LaPersonerie who survives. A family statement reads, "Richard was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman who could bring a smile to everyone's face. He will truly be missed. Survivors include his wife; Michelle at home, two sons- Patrick and his wife Alison of Amityville, Long Island and James and his wife Jennifer of Old Bridge, NJ. Seven grandchildren; Brian, Sean, Christian, Camryn, Jenna, Jimmy and Cecilia. One brother James of Philadelphia, PA. Several nieces and nephews. Richard is predeceased by a son Phillip and a brother Robert. Friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm at Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY. Cremation will follow at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Arid, PA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Flame Narrowsburg, NY.
