Edith Lutz Obituary


LUTZ - Edith Ruth Feulner, 85, died peacefully on July 3, 2008. She was a widow of Elmer G. Lutz who died on August 1, 1979. Edith was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. On August 26, 1922 the daughter of John and Bertha Feulner. She attended Bushwich H.S. In Brooklyn, N.Y. Thirteen years ago she moved from Massapequa Park N.Y. To Crestwood Village in Frederick, MD. To be with her family. Edith had a long career including working in New York first for Benton and Bowles Advertising Agency, and then as a supervisor in retail advertising for Newsday, the Long Island newspaper. Edith lived life with exuberance and a generous heart. Her family and friends were the most important part of her life and was loved by each person who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her two sons Dale William and wife Sandi of West Hartford, CT. and Drew John and wife Christine of Frederick. She is the beloved grandmother to Kristoffer Lutz and wife Marisa of Sudbury, MA., Jeffrey Lutz and wife Carolyn of Waltham, MA., Adam Lutz and his fiancŽ Michaelyn Shepard of N.Y.C., Kevin Lutz and his wife Stephanie of Halethorpe MD, Julie Lutz and Cory Lutz of Frederick. She is also the beloved great-grandmother to Mason and Madeline Lutz of Sudbury, MA. The view will be held on Monday July 7, 2008 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be at 3:00pm on the same day. Interment will be at Pinelawn National Cemetery in Farmingdale N.Y. Next to her beloved husband Elmer on Wednesday July 9, 2008 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation in Edith's memory to the American Diabetes Association P. O. Box 11454 Alexandria, Virginia 22312.
